Hello, my name is Lexi-- & what you read above is what I owe CVS Pharmacy for using their coupons 'incorrectly'. I'm 18 years old, fresh out of high school & not in college yet, so I applied to work for the company CVS.
While working at CVS, I used my family's 'EXTRA BUCKS', a coupon that gives you 'free' cvs money after spending a certain amount of money.
I also was forced by a male coworker to give him discounts while I was alone behind the counter. I have major anxiety, so it was very hard to say 'NO' to him when I was alone.
In total, I was supposed to owe CVS $117. I was never told about the extra 400 I would owe, nor the 8 for every single time I sent them a payment.
I am out of work right now, even though I was told that I'd not be losing my job.
The money would go straight to the debt collectors, and I would be keeping none of it for myself.
The only reason it's $600 is because I need to pay the fees that might come along with it.
Please help me-- it's just me and my mother living alone in a small apartment, I can't afford to pay the debt back all at once, nor even in small amounts as they charge interest with each new payment.
During the 'investigation' the one in charge tricked me by befriending me before hand. As soon as I signed, his attitude completely changed, and he rushed me out without a second thought.
I didn't know what was going on, I trusted them! I was so stupid.
